Found out recently that LunarCrush has launched its own token. It’s called $LUNR and you can passively earn it just by using the platform everyday. Unfortunately, there’s really not that much you can do on the site/app. You get bored eventually after doing some actions lol.

Create your own LunarCrush account here.

If LunarCrush welcomes suggestions from their community, they better start implementing some ideas that make sense. We have some suggestions below that we think will increase user engagement and we hope their devs/team will take action. These are just our opinions on how to make LunarCrush better though. If you have your own ideas you wish to share, please drop them in the comments section below. We’ll be sharing this article with the LunarCrush team.

Suggestions:

  • Allow users to stop getting trending news recommendations for a specific crypto. There are coins without utility that get in the trending news section just because of hype. Most users don’t want that.

  • Trending news and Insights sections should only display one item at a time - with the first item having the highest score (either as a trending news or as an insight).

  • Give the Watchlist section a dedicated page like that of CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko. The current watchlist implementation is not that useful at all. Users would love to see more data all laid out in front of them.

  • There's influencers who most users don’t know and LunarCrush asks for opinions about them. Users don’t engage much on this. It’s way much better if LunarCrush enables a mini-social network feature where users can connect with other like-minded users based on which cryptos they like or are in their watchlists. Users connect with each other, post their opinions (or facts) about a crypto, and like other users’ posts. Users with the most post likes could become influencers for specific cryptos.

  • Add a page where users can post their suggestions to improve the site/app and then allow other users to like/dislike them. Posts with the most likes get displayed on top of the suggestions page.

  • On the Discover page, it makes much more sense if users can see all the cryptos that are on the watchlists of the users they follow.

These are the ideas we can come up for now. We’ll definitely post another set of ideas here in our blog soon. That is, if LunarCrush won’t implement a Suggestions feature yet. :)
